Florence, SC — Sloan Hilton has announced his campaign for South Carolina House District 63, running to bring honest, practical, people-first representation to Florence and the surrounding community.

Hilton said his campaign is rooted in a simple belief: public office should serve the public.

“I’m running because too many people in South Carolina work hard, play by the rules, and still feel ignored by the people elected to represent them,” Hilton said. “District 63 deserves honest, practical leadership rooted in fellowship, accountability, and respect for the people who keep this community going.”

Hilton’s campaign will focus on protecting personal freedom, respecting taxpayer dollars, strengthening public investment, and making government more accountable to the people it serves.

“Every tax dollar represents someone’s time, labor, and sacrifice,” Hilton said. “If government requires that investment from working people, it has a responsibility to return real value, protect their rights, and treat every dollar with respect.”

Hilton said his campaign will be built around listening to voters, earning trust, and offering District 63 a real choice.
